Advice about guarantor deed

Hi I'm looking for some advice about a guarantor deed. I agreed to be a guarantor at the beginning of this year (foolish I know!) for a tenancy period of 6 months. The LL will sue you on the basis of the Deed.

You will enter a defence claiming
1) the witness signature was not valid
2) you were never shown a copy of the tenancy agreement

Given that there IS a witness signature on the document, you will have to convince the judge (yes, burdon of proof) that this was added later.

If the LL claims a copy of the TA was attached to the Deed, you will each ned to argue your posistions, and the judge will decide on the balance of probobilities.......
