i know there is already a thread about this but i need some info on it and just didnt understand how it worked

i went to
http://www.chg.org.uk/keystart/sharedownership/index.html
and
http://www.housingcorp.gov.uk/yourhome/shared.htm

which are helpful but doesnt really give me feedback from people who are on thsi scheme or how much they exactly paid before the started to pay the rent, as in surverys etc.

basically i started a thread a while back askign what option was best for a family on my road

they have been in a housign assocation 3 bedroom house for 20 years
but their annual incoem is between £10-15k maximum (4-5 adults in household)

they pay about £400 rent a month to hte H.A but they hav recently heard about this shared ownership and it seems the best sense as they cant be paying their H.A forever
so shared owndership is their first step
they have signed up an will hear if they are eligible by this coming week........

anyone got some more info on this scheme......
any help will be passed on, so it will be gratefully appreiated

I'm not sure what it is your asking acid as those sites give approximate amounts needed to start such schemes....................are you asking for personal experiences of these schemes?

it depends on so many things ,like which survey they go for ,or which is required by their lender........this might help
