itunes corrupted or not installed properly

Last week I accepted a new update to itunes on my laptop without any problem. Suddenly today when I tried to open itunes, I get a message that it is either corrupted or not installed properly. Should I delete it and try to download/reinstall it ? I have never had this before.

You could try repairing the installation. In Add Remove Programs, highlight itunes and click Repair.How do I add a signature?0
