Hi
Is it a big diy job to fit a front bumper on a mark one 99 focus, any idea how much a scrap yard would charge for a used bumper please.
Kind Regards

for 'Most' cars, its one or 2 bolts and a couple of slide on mounting brackets.
Its a 2 person job thorugh, as you have to get them all lined up and clipped in place on both sides at the same time.
No direct experience on a Focus, but both my Renault Megane and my Vauxhall Astra were like this.0 -
Put car on ramps or jack up.
Unclip indicator and fog light connectors.
Remove front grill from car.
Remove 3x plastic clips from the front of each arch liner and 2 from up each
arch edge.
Put arm inside arch liner and undo 10mm bolt from bottom of headlight
Remove 2x bolts from top of headlight, un clip loom connector and remove headlights.
Remove 4x plastic clips from rear of the undertray.
Remove 3x nuts from inside edge of bumper/wing and remove plate also (both sides)
Press down on retaining lugs on the top of the bumper and pull forward, the bumper
should now come off
i have cut and pasted this from a reply on the passion ford website,
also if i needed a bumper for a focus i would look on ebay, the scrapyards now arnt as good as they used to be, and bumpers are normally the parts that are damaged in crashes.0
