Solicitor not paying service charges!
Suarez
We completed late September this year and it was agreed that the vendor would deduct the amount owing for the service charges from the sale (1st Aug to 31st Sept) and we pay the balance (1st Oct to 31st Dec).
This was done through our solicitor and we paid the balance of the service charges when transferring our deposit/solicitors fees on completion.
We are still getting bills from our management company and I am phoning our solicitor every 2 weeks and he just tells me he will do it straight away but it never gets paid!
Is there anything I can do?

Write to the solicitor, expressing your concern that despite several promises, the matter remains unresolved.
Explain that if the matter is not resolved by the payment being made within seven days, you'll have no alternative but to escalate the matter to the solicitor's regulating body.

Well no the SRO can only deal with a complaint once you have raised it as a complaint with the member or member firm.
I suggest you
1: pay the Man Co in full
2: Write by email and fax, unless their website says they dont accept service that way
- make no payments except to you
- that prior promises were made and not honoured and that is now a formal complaint
making sure that it goes to the Solicitor and the person who deals with the practice complaintsStop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
Actively hunting down the person who invented the imaginary tenure, "share freehold"; if you can show me one I will produce my daughter's unicorn0
