They have been changing prices since yesterday - Lots of ye sale items went back to normal price and they added new items to the sale section. Maybe drop them an email as they have always been outstanding when iv gone to them with a problem - Does your confirmation e-mail state the £5.50 price?

I didn't check the email til a while after I made the order, but it gives the price of the large tray @£10.99 and delivery £3.95. I really wish I'd copied the confirmation page as I definitely saw it at that price for the large tray. Ahhh well, tray meant to arrive tomorrow and I will be able to display it alongside the shade and tealight holders😄

  • Chester shop still have candles reduced to half price!

They have large Candy Cane, Christmas Garland & Icicles. Also quite a few medium jars.
I think they also had Snow in Love pillars which I presume were also half price since they were on the same stand.
Hope this helps someone - I'm not fussed on those fragrances so I managed to resist.
I'm loving the Cranberry Pear at the moment :D

I was given a thingy to melt the tarts in for Christmas and its cracked, are they likely to take it back without a receipt?

It was bought from a YC shop.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

Hallmark in lakeside had some giftsets 20% off and some Christmas bits 50% off don't know if its store specific.

also talking to a store assistant they have now started stocking a similar candle range (looked exactly like Yankee) apparently they are Yankee candles big competition in the usa. They were quite a bit cheaper than Yankee but as I say couldn't tell them apart.

Was it Village Candles they had started stocking? They look identical to Yankee - http://www.villagecandle.com

I've had a few large Village candles from Ebay (<£15 delivered) and 'quite' like them. They last up to 160 hours (v 150 hrs Yankee) and they are so easy to use - the 2 wicks got a lovely pool every time, in under 45 mins and never tunnel like a lot of my Yankees have recently. I'm not too keen on some of their fragrances and they don't have as big a range as Yankees, but still worth a try in my opinion!
