Upstairs in Boots Prospect Centre Hull have got Cinnamon Yankee Candles reduced, medium jar £4.49 and large for £7.49, think they may have had a few of the smaller 15 hour burn too (didn't have too close a look as I hate the smell of cinnamon!) the stand was by the till, in front of the lift.
Would you destroy something perfect in order to make it beautiful?
  • House of Fraser have some of the Christmas ones from 92p for the small single candles and 3.49 for candles in a jar.

May only be in store though. Mine I found in Cardiff and I used my shopandscan vouchers so technically free.

    Happy face :-). :j

Enfield Garden Centre at Cruise Hill have LOADS of tarts and samplers at 30% off. Lots of stock left. Some accessories too at up to 50% off. A few jars but not much.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

Saw Yankee Candles votives and jars for the first time in Tesc0 Talbot Green, but the jars or scents aren't like the ones on the YK sites. They were also too high for me to reach to smell them. They are also sold on Tesco Direct site.

The Tesco ones are the Simply Home range by YC (also sold by Asda and B&Q) but are not as strong as the traditional Yankee jars so not so much of a bargain in my mind.
Boots still had them on 3 for 2 yesterday so 3 large jars for £39.98 (plus Ad card points!) and my local large store has started to sell them now whereas at C'mas I had to go into the city.

You'd think the websites would have more offers at the moment as it must be a slower time of year for them (compared to C'mas when there seemed to be more offers around) and they'd need to encourage sales, if that makes sense?

I haven't actually been into my local Boots (Leamington parade) sotre however I did notice Stratford Upon Avon Maybird did have a selextion of YC both at Xmas and now as a permanent selection which Im assuming is all part of their new spring range. With them being on offer here it does make very good value of you buy 3 and the points will make it even more of a good deal. I do however agree with you about doing more offers this time of year however its a double edged sword, they know people tend to buy these kinds of things mainly as gifts so I suppose to lure them into perhaps buying more than planned by giving them offers is a good sales ploy by them. As above in this thread I got a wide range of votives gift sets end of jan which was partly old stock and also part of the sale for a very good price. I will keep some of these and give some out as gifts during the year. I also get emails from them with offers so I will keep an eye out.

Thanks for mentioning the range at asda, saw them earlier in the week, and wasnt sure about them, they just didnt look right, and the smell wasnt as strong. I will look out for offers on the normal yankee candles. Unfortunately my boots is only a smallish one and have never seen them in there, and dont get to a bigger store very often.
