This is an area about bargains from candles by the Yankee Candle Company - not about complaints. There are other areas here for that.

    Gracias mucho.
  • Everyone seen the samplers and tarts in poundland? My area seems to have lots of sweet apple samplers and fig tarts.

Also if you guys use the tarts, try the main stays wax melts also from poundland, they are really strong and have a good throw. I have been buying lots in my store only 3 scents though, I was pleasantly surprised they are American.

    Disagree!

I find it useful to read about problems as well.
I have only just started using a Yankee jar candle.
I only thought you had soot marks with normal old fashioned candles not the jar ones!

Can I ask what a wick cutter does please??
Thanks to posters with good or bad reviews, all are helpful.

the wick trimmer is a very easy way to cut the wick to the 'perfect' length for burning and should be used before every burn to help it burn better. Would also recommend using their illumalid or shade every burn on large or medium jars to catch some of the soot.

    Thanks for this.
I have noticed a lot of soot around the neck of the jar.
    Will invest in a shade.
    Thanks for replying.

The thread title is "Yankee Candle offers" within "Quick Grabbit" section.

There is a more suitable section in the "Praise, Vents and Warnings" section of the forum for any Yankee complaints.

Don't know if anyone has posted about the deal for a large candle and a reed diffuser at Boots for £25.
