hi all,
looking into these 'yankee wax melts' instead of candles now , hopefully wont get the black smoke and dont really want plug ins for saftey/cost....
anyone know if they are good/better than candles?
only problem is delivery is more expensive than the actual melt!!0 -
The official yankee candle website has just updated their sale, loads of xmas stock including large jars half price.0

hi thanks, for that, but im not looking to buy the candles any more, im going to try the wax tart melts but they dont seem to have any savings on them...
and delivery is a lot compared to the price of the melts...

Oh, thank you very much. <sarcasm>I really don't need any more candles, but as you'd posted I thought I'd go and have a look, and... Oh no, more candles have fallen into my shopping basket!
Back after a very long break!0 -
Asda and Tesco sell the melts for around £1 each, so maybe try there if you don't want to pay out for postage.0

i've decided to hold off on yankee jars for now & i've got these melts on their way to me to try. if i like, i'll be giving their jar candles a go as i still prefer candles to melts (much cheaper than yankee & get very good feedback on their ebay store, they do sell direct on their own website too, which can be cheaper depending on how many bought).0

hi, let us know how they are (they seem very cheap, a bit too cheap!?)
let us know when you get them if they are nice!0 -
hi,
you should try a place i used at christmas ( for the mrs of course :A)
they do wax tart melts and they smelled amazing! get more for your money and smell so much stronger/better than candles
i have still got a few im still using....plus as you say with melts you dont get the black smoke.
hi, how was delivery from this deliciousmelts place?
hows the smell of them?
on the website they say they are 100% home made and use 10% scent to wax (better than, i 'assume' yankee)... i like the fact they are home made if the quality is there
let us know..
thanks0
