Confused?-which food for my puppy?

Would you eventually try to wean them off the dry food and feed just wet food, I.E Wainwrights? Or would it be ok to mix the wet with some dry and maintain this whilst they are happy to eat it?
Or would you introduce a mixer with the wet rather then mixing wet and dry complete food?
I am confused as to what measurements of each i need to fed him.......Vet said he was ribby (but he is active!)

We feed dry kibble with a wet topper to our 9 month old puppy. She has Eden kibble and either NatureDiet wet food or Fish4Dogs salmon mousse. She will not eat dry kibble out of her bowl but loves it from her Kong Wobbler.:)

I have no advice re toileting as she was dry at night from the day we got her (she was 7 weeks old). I count myself extremely lucky!!:rotfl:
