    I would email news@moneysavingexpert.com

I'll also see if I can get them to get in touch, but probably quicker if you go direct as above.

  • I've read the judges ruling and other news coverage on this, but can someone attempt to answer a couple of questions for me...
Does this mean our contracts were never valid if the judge has ruled misrepresentation?
Is the redress for the whole contract or between 1999-2008?
I'm not thinking of any monies at this point because I've no doubt they will appeal against the decision, but just not sure where we all stood?

I took out a Together mortgage in 2001 with off the top of my head £28k unsecured. I remortgaged down the road and eventually moved house... I suspect there may be others in the same boat out there?

Do I need to contact them...

  • I see NRAM have updated their website, basically stating they don't know what this ruling means for them! Seems quite enlightening to me though! I have no doubt they'll appeal, but really hope they don't get away with it!
  • Thanks Fermi, someone from the news team has reached out to me. I have asked that they contact me by phone.
  • Ours is only 7k! Oh well, guess we wont be due anything :(
  • It's good news today, however only 300 of the 40,000 people affected made a complaint yet let's see how many come forward now to claim their compensation. Anyway thank you to the other 299 people who could be bothered to register their complaint.

    Thank you too Horton!
