New esa claim

Hi how long does it take to hear back from putting in a new esa claim sent mine off on mon also sent in fit note last fri for 3 months? Any help will be grateful.

Typically payment would start in around a couple of weeks, assuming that everything is basically in order with the certificate and forms basic details.

Ok thank you, hopefully everythings all in order maybe ill get some payment before christmas so not gonna worry about it to much as feeling bit stressed already. Iam actually due a payment next thurs do you think it would be sorted by then. Thanks again.

OP I send in my ESA50 form 19 October, heard nothing so rang DWP friday, they said last communication on their computer was 'awaiting return of form', explained got 'signed for' receipt showing was received, she then said she would email dept to request call back same day before 4.30pm. Still waiting nothing heard, so will be on the phone again tomorrow.:mad:

Hi got letter today to say my med cert is needed for such and such date so phoned them now to say it was sent and was told that my claim had be disallowed so said i was told to send in med cert while i wait for them to send me a claim form so dated that the same date as my med cert so now have to wait until 5pm today for a call back or 1pm tomorrow. If my claim is disallowed will i get any money this side of christmas starting to stress now as dont know what i will do with no money any help will be appreciated thank you.

Sorry with them saying it was disallowed do you think it was because of med cert and also this was a new claim because i lost my tribunal?
