Hp not updating display Drivers- direct drivers from amd not compatible

Hello, In 2010 i bought a laptop from ebuyer.co.uk for around £800 This laptop features a switchable AMD Gfx card one low performance and one high, the higher performance one is for games, However recently Hp have stopped making computers and have stopped any support for laptops bought before 2011, Currently the gfx drivers for my card are from 2010 - which are totally useless to me because i play games, I cant update them because when i do it disables the high performance card and only lets me use the low performance one, Because the laptop is out of warranty i can't get support from Hp, I was wondering if i can argue with ebuyer that the laptop is no longer fit for purpose and not as described becuase i cant updated it because it disables the High power grafics card -What are my rights under the sale of goods act? It is up to Hp to provide grafics update becuase updates direct from AMD are not compatiable with my laptop

HP have stopped making computers?! Who told you these lies?!
I find it difficult to believe that there aren't any up to date drivers available for a 2010 computer. What model is it? What AMD processor? What AMD graphics? What version of Windows?
Anyway, if eBuyer were selling this laptop as being able to play the latest games (they certainly wouldn't make such claims on a £300 one), then you could argue that it's not fit for purpose just 2 years later.

Does Windows update not offer more up to date drivers? You could always search the AMD website drivers area for more up to date drivers. It is better to get drivers for an AMD based graphics card from AMD themselves rather than your computer maker as they will be more up to date.
