My mum lives in Harold Hill and I had to live there for a while. Not the best place on earth but I have seen worse. We are thinking of buying our house there as it is all we can really afford. Do you know which road? I would stick to the main roads away from pubs and shops.
I would really love to live in Harold Wood I just can't afford to.0 -

hi thanks for the replies, i had my concerns of the area, although the house is massive (anywhere else it would be a fortune) the house we looked at was on tees drive no 1, but i had a driver around and i was put off....
my search continues...Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
I wouldn't go in that far there is a pub near there that doesn't have a good name. And if you get the bus to Romford station it takes ages.
Have you tried the Heaton Grange area, that is meant to be the posh area. Houses are a bit more expensive but it depends what you are looking for.
Heaton Grange is nearer the A127/A12 that where you looked.0
