I think that a Travelodge would be your best bet. You can search on their site for £15 and £26 deals.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0

We stayed at the Orchard Hotel in Sussex Gardens, five minutes walk from Oxford Street. This hotel cost £90 for 2 adults and 2 children, bed and breakfast, and also has free parking.0

Try youth hostels, there are several central ones and most do family rooms. You don't have to be a member, although joining may save a bit on money.
Also Baden Powell House is a budget hotel next to the Natural History Museum.I stayed with my kids when it was run by the youth hostel !!!, on behalf of the Scout movement. It is now run by someone else, but on similar lines. Can't beat it for location!0 -
If you're checking stuff out it's worth looking at tripadvisor.com for honest reviews of hotels. Unfortunately you often get what you pay for in London and beyond special offers there aren't too many cheap deals that are good value
