What are your opinions on bonds future over all and on this specific one?
I ask because I am transfering (selling&buying rather, too small amount in it) this fund from my non ISA account into my ISA account.
It is not doing much currently, appart from falling little bit. Obviously investment is for long term, but given that lots of news predict fall in bond earnings I wonder whether I shall keep it at all and perhaps not buy something else? I can see the argument beind why would they fall.. but obviously not every manager is going to be affected the same! And this fund seem to have good past management... Yes, past is not guaranteed of future, but to me it has a little effect on my decisions as it gives me the assurance that they know what they are doing.. IYKWIM?
I also have M&G High Yield bond, so I would not be bond-less on my portfolio.. I realise it is higher risk, but I can afford to take some risk.
