Laptop for around £250

Trying to find a laptop for roughly £250.
Would be needed for college work and then basic teenager use aka Facebook etc

Have a look on eBay daily deals, Ebuyerexpress have an Acer V5 for £290, a little more than you specified, but it is a decent little machine, has 4gig memory 320gig HDD, hdmi, usb etc. Plus there is a deal to get the cost of upgrading to Windows 8 refunded + free P+P

The acer states its a notebook and not a laptop but looking at the size it looks like a laptop

I'd be very surprised if Acer states it's not a laptop.....
