Should I ?

I can't make head nor tail of the various tariffs as it is :/

I'm kinda leaning towards 'they're all pretty much the same'

Im happy with EDF and their call centres seem to be 'local'

A friend told me it takes months for the points to be credited anyway, i was hoping to use the £100 for my entire Christmas food shop. Better the devil you know? Arggggghhhh

Maybe I'll call EDF and tell the I'm tempted to leave and they'll offer me 2 weeks in Hawaii all inclusive?

Has anyone else done a similar deal/switch? And do the points take months to appear ? (I sort of figured that the points wouldn't be credited until first bill had been paid anyway)

Any tips/advice welcomed

Cheers !

(Please, be sure to check every other single post I have made before doing so (joke))

Regards.

They're not, as any comp site check with your annual kWh figures will show. Two minutes work, nothing to make 'head or tail of'.
Treat Nectar points like any other freebie and factor it into the annual costs. If their tariff is £110pa more than a rival, then getting £100 back via Nectar is not a good deal, even if it sounds like it.
What matters is the real annual cost, not the freebies.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
