Where to buy heavy duty boxes (in small numbers)

Do any readers know the best place to buy a handful of heavy duty cardboard boxes.

I normally just adapt boxes from supermarkets etc, but I shall be selling a handful of high value heavy items.

Box size t be about 600mm x 400mm x 400mm.

Try your local box manufacturer, they may have over runs, off the shelf stock in similar sizes or be willing to make small quantities so long as you don't need them printing.

There's probably a decent second hand box seller near you. We use one in Manchester, they have stocks of a lot of different sizes. They're always in near enough immaculate condition too.

MSE way is to ask at a local electrical retailer, should have plenty. Or even a local shop, pub etc. We fill a 1100 litre bin of cardboard every week.
Failing that if you go to any self storage place they usually have boxes of all shapes and sizes for sale.
