I need a hotel in Southampton on the 5th of May

Will be traveling down to watch a football match and was wondering if anyone could help me find a room at the cheapest possible price in the Southampton area for Saturday the 5th of May?

Something like a Travelodge? The one at Eastleigh (15 mins away) has rooms for £65.

The Novotel has a room at £81. Get in quick as all rooms are going fast due to the match.

Holiday Inn at £84. 15 min walk to St Marys and 10 mins to town.

Southampton (Rownhams) Travelinn is £50 so I think we might go with that, it means driving into town but thats fine as we have the car.

We need to use park and ride to get to the stadium, do you know how much the car park costs?

Rownhams is fine. 15 mins by car from Town. There is NO free parking in Soton on Sundays (Council greed!). I suggest that you bus into town as it gets packed on a Sunday, shopping and the game. A bus stops outside your hotel and drops you into the center of town. You can have a drink and some lunch there and walk the 10 mins to SMS. Then you can walk away from the stadium (having lost, sorry) and get a bus to Rownhams. There is parking near the stadium for £5/£6 but it is manic trying to drive away after the game.
PM me if I can be of help. I'm away from my PC until Friday though. If all this sounds complicated, hail a cab from the hotel. You might be able to share the cab with others.
