RBS Credit Card PPI Claim help plz

Hi there,
I recently sent off a PPI claim to RBS for my credit card which I have had since 2002, they responded and basically said I knew I had it so on ya bike, they sent me some photcopies of the small print which to be honest was a poor copy and couldnt read it anyway. With having the card for so long I havent had the paperwork for years and to be totally honest who read the small print 10 years ago.
My question is do I write to the ombudsman now I have received this rejection letter and if yes what do i put in the letter, any help would be gratefully accepted
