Tell them to list it back on ebay themselves.Official MR B fan club, dont go............................0

wow i would stall them too, sounds to me like they found another copy (probably cheaper) and now want to return the worser condition of them to you.0

Try and put them off for a few daysNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0

Just remember that feedback and stars can be left up to 60 days from sale date.
Even by my calculations, theres some time left!0 -
ok really not sure what to make of this - when i asked why the buyer wanted a refund he said he already had a version of this rare book but thought the one i was selling looked to be in better condition than his copy
his message doesn't specify whether mine or his is better condition in his opinion - but I assume he considers his version is better on the basis of the next bit of his message
he then goes on to propose that as an alternative perhaps i could contact the second highest bidder from the original auction, if they want the book, then he will sell it them, ahem yes for £135! (£10 more than he bought it from me)
i will take a little time to consider how to respond, i am usually very straight with my buyers but tempted (given this buyers antics) to drag my feet to get this past the 45 days since payment to narrow down the buyers options
any thoughts?????
Unless it's damaged or faulty or not as described then you won't have to provide a refund. If you're a private seller and not a business seller, then better still, you never have to provide one unless the buyer claims the item hasn't arrived or is damaged or different to the way it was listed.Addicted to saving money :j (or just tight)0 -

About a year and a half?:p0 -
quick update it all went quiet then
after 59 days and yes 23 hours the buyer left me neg "VERY BAD SELLER - NOT INTERESTED IN SOLUTION"
i think i'm happy to just take the neg & move on, as the buyer was an idiot and i still have 99.6% positive but would maybe like to post a factul response, any thoughts on something that addresses the position briefly - maybe just something like sorry I wasn't able to meet your expectations
to recap there was obviously nothing wrong with the item as the buyer wanted my help to try to re-sell it, he then went quiet about wanting a return before negging me
as a further note after leaving the neg I blocked him, he then messaged via another account saying he wants a refund still my listing was set to returns accepted!0 -
"Buyer asked for refund out of the blue after 40 days. No reason given"One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

would it be unreasonable to make mention in some way of the fact the buyer had the item for >40 days then asked that on his behalf I offered it to the second bidder at a price over & above my his winning bid on my auction!
i did second bidder wasn't intereted, it went quiet then the neg
not sure if it's sensible to say this nor how to do it succintly without sounded like a deranged seller!!
also can i (or is it worth it?) reporting them for contacting me using another member account after they were blocked?0 -
