Malta Holiday Advice

We are hoping to take a holiday in Malta this summer.
We would be grateful for any advice about where & where not to consider & which companies to look at.

We have read some quite poor reviews of maltabargains.com. Can anybody confirm these comments.

When we go to Malta we always go with Chevron and never once had a problem.

Worth looking at mercury direct. We have travelled with them and Chevron, no problem with either

Thanks for the information given, I posted a couple of weeks ago asking for particular places to stay. We are thinking of staying in Sliema, any recommendations? I hear the Howard Johnson is not a recommendation, I have read some dreadful reviews, are there any you have been to and liked?
