Streaming problem

Hi all hope you can help, the problem is when I try to stream anything music, video or photos to my lgtv from my pc it will work fine for around 15min to 40min then the wifi adapter on the pc will turn off, it is a netgear USB plugin type, the lights will be on but no networks are available on the pc, the only way to reconnect is to unplug and replug the USB and then it will reconnect. I have tried using the inbuilt windows media sharing, and the third party tversity prog but both have the same issues, I am using windows 8 with media centre on my pc. Thanks in advance for any help, I have already checked the power saving settings and they are all off.
