Jimmy1000, stop being so obnoxious! Just because NRAM have issued redress to the accounts doesn't stop people continuing to pursue alternative lines with them, such as requesting repayment etc by cheque / saying that the reduction in term is not acceptable etc.
Just because NRAM have done something doesn't mean the conversation with them has to stop.0 -
Its reduces term monthly payments remain the same.
I called and got someone so I paid and asked if redress was on the account yet, and its not, so i have emailed customer relations to confirm i do not accept redress which advisor said we were quite right to do, customer relations number is down still only number is to pay mortgage.
They said that there is alot of customers doing the same so we can do this and only ones that do can come to an agreement with nram, so hopefully we can get some answers soon.
Jimmy- I am simply going to ignore you now as you are clearly a roaster!!!0 -

hi daisy
im not an ex customer, thanks:eek:0 -
If you'd bothered to read the thread mate you'd notice that i'd been saying this is what will happen for weeks and I didn't want a cheque anyway. But don't let the facts get in the way of you having a pop at folk hey?
crag it seems you work for NRAM after all? knowing what is happening?:money:0 -
I am glad people have started to receive their redress, and will leave it a few days before I call to confirm my balance; there's no point piling on to an already-overloaded call system.
I'm also finding it rather difficult to read this thread due to the appalling spelling and grammar of the majority. Please take a little care when typing your replies, it makes you easier to understand and you'll appear considerably more convincing in your arguments.0 -
I am very interested in this thread as I will be due redress in the coming weeks, if not received already.
My unsecure loan was for £24500, and if my sums are correct i will be due approx £4500 (interest was about £100/month).
Ideally i could do with some of this money for home improvements, which would benefit NRAM in the long run ie house more valuable/saleable, get out of negative equity quicker.
Would i need to register my concern prior to receiving redress, should a decision be made to offer alternative payment?0 -

You will have to get it logged with them as soon as.
Email on customerrelations@n-ram.co.uk
Give them you account details and simply write -
To whom it may concern,!
Without prejudice.
I have been trying to call all day with no avail - I understand your lines are down at present.
!
Under advice from my lawyer!I would like to have it formally logged that I do not accept redress to my unsecured loan and would like to have the option to receive payment directly. As this loan was unenforceable due to non compliance with CCA the interest payments made are refundable. It is not up to you to decide without my consent.!
I do not want the terms of this loan to be changed what so ever.!
There are thousands contesting this many of whom have never even seen this site! Good luck!0 -

I just sent an email saying exactly those words. To be honest I'm not that bothered, however it would be nice to get it cash in hand. Would make saving up for Orlando in the summer a bit easier !!0
