Paint Shop Pro 9 Error Message

I've been using Paint Shop Pro 9 for about 2 years now on my PC with no problems but now all of a sudden when I try to open it I get the following message:

I've tried reinstalling it but it makes no difference.

I don't understand what the error message means. Can someone advise me what it means and what I need to do.

too small can't see message

try "right clicking" on the icon and changing the compatability to an earlier version of windows
