My elderly Mother in Law received notification from BG:
She was delighted, as she like many pensioners is on a fixed income and finds it hard to meet her afford ever increasing energy costs. When I contacted BG I was told:

Understandably my MiL is bewildered, she does not understand why she will not save £195.

When I asked why send us this notification

Thank you for the enquiry you sent about EnergySmart service and apologies for the delay in replying.
Your energy accounts are already on EnergySmart Monthly service. We sent this email to all our customer to let them know about this service.
