Mamas and Papas pram broken for second time

I bought a Mamas and Papas "urbo" pram for my ds and it's broken twice (he's only three months old).
The first time I was unable to fold it down and the second time the front wheels got stuck and wouldn't rotate. I haven't been rough with the pram at all, I believe it's a design fault as I've found quite a lot of people online complaining about the same issue and there is even a facebook group about it. Surely they should recall this pram as it's not fit for purpose and also unsafe - when the wheels suddenly lock it can cause the pram to potentially capsize?
Anyway I've taken it back to the Reading store for the second time (an hour's journey each way plus the expense of parking etc - with a three month old baby this has not been fun and has wasted another day). The first time I was happy to accept a replacement chassis but the second time I was quite upset especially after reading online that other people have had problems recur again and again. I want a refund so that I can afford to buy a pram that will actually do its job but all they are prepared to do is replace it with another crummy urbo.
It's been sent off for them to have a look at it and establish that it's definitely faulty, currently I'm borrowing a different one which is quite old and doesn't fit in my car (my mum drove to Reading so we were able to get it back home), and we'll have to make another journey out to Reading when they finish with it.
What should I do about this? I really feel as the pram has broken not once but twice in three months with all the attendant inconvenience I should be able to get a full refund not a replacement when this pram is just not up to the job. Mamas and Papas are refusing to do this though.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Wouldn't they at least let you choose a different model? That would seem a sensible compromise, I too would have completely lost faith in the Urbo.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Possibly but my car is so small that none of the other models would fit my boot unfortunately. I'd need to get a non mamas and papas pram which frankly I'd be much happier with now but I can't afford to without a refund which they won't give me...0
