Appealing parking tickets

What does the law say about parking in a Loading Only area?
Thgat again depends on who issues the ticket - If its a private parking co, its just as much toilet paper as any other ticket issued but if it is a proper council ticket, it should be compliant with various rules and yes, if you are genuinely loading/unloading, you do stand a very good chance of challenging it - Again, much on this on the Parking Board.0 -
pogofish with respect this is a N Ireland board and you don't know what you are talking about. We don't have council tickets. The "official" tickets are issued by traffic wardens, who are employed by central government.0

Appeal what? - You got caught parking on double yellow lines. You are not allowed to do that.
Next time park on the section of road with no double yellow lines. This you are allowed to do.0 -
Very useful PDF at the bottom of BigAl's 2nd link which shows where discretion can be applied, which kindof relates to the OP.
For example, if you've paid for parking, and arrive back late, you may get 5 mins grace (so you have grounds for appeal if you got a ticked 2 mins after), BUT if you're parked on a clearway, and it starts at say 16.30, you can get a ticket at 16.31 as there is NO grace period.
In line with rolo1 - I don't see what OP's grounds for appeal are...0 -
