Hi all,
I was wondering whether anyone can advise me with this problem i have with some tickets i booked. The concert was supposed to take place on 16 dec booked them through Ticketmaster apparently due to promoters having personal family issue the concert has now been postponed to next year. I phoned Ticketmaster and they said they will let me know whether i can get a refund or not. They also stated the tickets i have will be valid for the rescheduled event.
I am not happy as i do not know what acts will be performing and next year is a long time to wait, i would prefer to get a refund really but does anyone know whether i have a right to refund in this circumstance ?
thanks all

Check what the ts + cs say. Then take it from there. (No-one here can advise based on the limited info you have given)0

If the acts in the rescheduled concert are different from those in the original, it's not a rescheduled concert at all, it's a different concert.
What kind of event is this?0 -
Usually when this happens you'll be given the option of getting a refund if you want one, rather than attending the new date.
You'll probably find that's what Ticketmaster will offer once they get their act together!
(I don't understand how you don't know who's performing either. Apart from a few big festivals, I can't think of many events that sell tickets before the line-up has been announced.)0
