Car Advice

Hi guys what car would you recommend around the £2000 mark or less which is a diesel descent size not a mini size or family size car midrange car. was thinking of a mazda 3 1.6d anyone got advice on this car or others thanks

    Mondeo. 2007 one for that money....

    Saloon, Hatch or Estate....

    70mph in 6th gear mine does 60+mpg.

  • Mid size cars are quite expensive compared to family size. If you could live with family size then you may find you get more for your money.

    Skoda Octavia?

    Does it have to be diesel - at that price point they have the potential to either be good, or money pits.

    IMO at the £2K mark you are safer going for petrol, and will get a newer car for the money

    £2k would get you a reasonable mileage diesel Mondeo tbh. There's a few on eBay around this mark with about 80k on the clock.

    The Fabia Estates are good room wise and cheaper.... prefer the Octavia but they are more ££££ .....
  • Hi guys im after a nice car, i absolute adore the new facelift A5 diesel coupe but prices are near enough £30,000. what i want is a good runner has to be diesel, good looking, reliable and ideally 170bhp and above. any thoughts on the A5 2012 model also VW GTD 09 plus. and suggestions please reply(hatchback or coupe ideally) thanks

    Within a Month or so, you have gone from wanting a 2k Car to a 25k Car :eek:
