urgent advice plz

ok as quick as i can, leaving other half
have 66k between us in each names not joint, however he is having the house, (long story not enough time)
can i get other half to take on my equities worth of debt, i mean if i leave the house he cant raise the 25k to pay me off but will the creditors go after the house anyway?
sorry need to be brief will pop on later to answer any questions oh and we are with the cccs

    Just go, do what you need to do the rest can be dealt with later.

    Are you maaried? If so you are entitled i understand to half of the house. Make no promises, and go and see a soilkcitor asap

    yes i am married, but no the marrage is over so as its my choice im leaving the house with the kids,
    im actually looking forward to being single again!

    Um... well, IANAL, but if you are married, all the debts in the marriage and all the assets are considered in the divorce settlement. The essence of my advice is that you need to see a divorce lawyer. Online advice won't cut it in this situation.

    It is unlikely you (or the lawyers) could force the sale on the house until the kids are 16 in any case.

    Echo the advice given, you MUST see a solicitor before you leave or make any promises.

    I don't know if this was just my situation but i left in a hurry (long story), i took only the kids and my clothes. In the divorce settlement i got 3k from the sale of the house which he made 19k profit. This was because i got legal aid and anything over that would have gone to them, if i had known then what i know now, i would have planned it much better, and most importantly seen a solicitor.
    You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
