Where do I stand legally on this? We have had an offered accepted on a property to buy. Now the vendor won't let us get a few builders round until we have exchanged contracts. We only want some quotes from builders and I am really annoyed as they know that we would only buy house if from day one of completion we are…

The living with family will have to be done anyway. However if I am delayed by two weeks then I will end up having to spend 4 weeks out without a house.

I have emailed to explain situation but if I need to will threaten to pull out if can't get access to get quotes.
