  • What on earth was such a good deal that you are getting into this sort of state over it?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

What winds me up, is when there is a 'Buy one get 1 free' offer and there is only one item left on the shelf.

Does that mean that someone has only picked one up and not seen the ad, or is it the shop has put an odd number out? Ethically speaking, perhaps it is a good thing and is trying to stop wastage, but if you are going in for Two of them, well....

OP.. Stop trying to play the victim and start thinking of the other consumers, who would benefit from this Great manager in stopping the abuse. The store manager has done the right thing for the shop too, as people coming in for the promo line will most likely pick something else up at full price and high margin.

Why do you think they run Promotions for?

I admit to being one of those customers who buy only one of a lot of things that are on buy one get one free.. If its something fresh like bread I would never eat two before it went bad ( don't have a freezer big enough to freeze much) so I leave the "free" one as it would just be waste .....

lot of shops have "loss leaders " - no profit items designed to get customers in the door and hopefully also buy some other stuff they are making a profit on

aunt gonna happen if someone walks in and just buys all the loss leaders

    get a grip op
