Need help finding the right software to download? For bluetooth dongle.

I posted this a little while ago but didnt get the right answer so thought I would try again.

Basically I bought a bluetooth transceieving key thing in 2003 but its been in my drawer for a couple of years, I got a new mobile and want to use the bluetooth but I looked in the box and my software disc has disapaered I cant find it anywhere.

When I plug it in it recognises it but asks me to insert disc, which I havent got.

Its a PC2PC - bluetooth The stuff I downloaded last time all looked ok until i tried to use it and it says i wasnt licenced to use the software???

So help please thanks.

Whats this do I need this if so which one IVT BlueSoleil Driver

If you click on each of the items in the IVT BlueSoleil Driver list, it'll show an image of serial numbers and codes, so you can see which matches the one you have!

I don't have a similar item, but I assume that's all you need!

Don't download the Vista or XP 64 bit files though - as they are compatible with Windows XP SP2.

I think the quick-guide and manual's at the above link may help too!

Its asking for a passcode... I dont know the passcodes?? When I used this before I wasnt asked for that.

ok 0000 worked, but now it says I dont have a licence to use this program. I think I'd better buy a new one ????

I'd email their support, telling them you own the item, and what is happening, I'm sure they'll send you a helpful reply.

If you are ever asked for Bluetooth codes (and you didn't set them up first), as mcfisco says, 0000 is normally the default (most phones etc use this as the default "password" for bluetooth.)
