Hello peeps, long time away, but in need of some advice please.
I recently bought the above printer an am having prob getting it to work wirelessly.
Am I imagining things that I read somewhere that manufacturers are not fully testing their drivers on XP focusing on the newer versions of Windows?
I had probs intitially getting the printer to be recognised on the network. But an uninstall of the Canon software, reboot of the PC, printer and router, sorted that so could print. But nothing I could do would make the scanner work - don't understand, if the printer is recognised shouldn't the scanner? Must be a software/driver issue? The Canon IJ network utility says "not found" = although as I said it was printing wirelessly!!!
Any advice appreciated.thanks.
