Help with my laptop? Takes ages to power on

Hi there!

I hope you people can help me out there!!

I have an acer laptop - and for about 4 weeks now it takes about 30-40 mins to turn on - I press the button to power it on, the little lights light on - but nothing happens - I can hear noises - but a blank screen - eventually it turns on and works like normal

Any clues???

Does anything come up on the screen at all?

closed

hold down button for 10 seconds

if problem is still present, backup data, and factory restore using acer erecovery

if it still does it after that, hardware problem

schedule a chkdsk for next bootup

open a cmd prompt, chkdsk c: /r
