Disabled Student's Allowance and not a loan or Maintenance Grant?

I'm filling in my student finance application and im not sure if to tick Yes or No for the question:
Do you wish to apply for a Disabled Student's Allowance and not a loan or Maintenance Grant?
I thought that I could apply for both Disabled Student's Allowance and a Maintenance loan/grant and one would be offset against the other.
Any advice?

No idea, hon.
I applied for the disabled grant, which is different- you get sent for an assessment and the assessment centre apply for things for you through SAAS. There's no guarantee SAAS fund everything requested, but there's a fair chance. hopefully i'll get finance for a hearing aid and a computer (major RSI)
the grant isn't repayable, which is great, and student support have arranged extra time and the use of a computer.
as the funding body if the disabled thing is repayable in full my not be.0 -

I wonder if you're misreading the form and if you could quote the section verbatim. The Disabled Students Allowance is definitely on top of the normal funding package.
