Hi guys
Can you please advise me on this stressfull situation i have got myself into. about 2 months ago i had an minor accident on the roundabout and i didnt even knew about it till i actually got the letter from the other party's insurance. when we filled the claim form for my own insurance i filled in the details that my partner was driving at the time and date described in the accident form of other party. but after 1 month ago i vaguely remembered that it could have been me and not my partner, but when i say this to my insurance can they refuse to deal with the claim altogether, me and my partner are both insured to drive the car. I am not sure should i tell the insurance or let it go, if i let it go and at later stage the insurance some how found out that it was me it probably be more worse off

Just tell the truth, if you've made a mistake then correct it asap0

No, people make mistakes, just correct it0

If they think you have commited fraud they can cancel the policy.
They will probably pay the 3rd party but not any repairs to your car. Then claim the money back from you.
But then they put the information on the CUE database and you will struggle to get insurance in the future.
How did they get your info?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Hi guys
Thanks for the valuable info
They got my info from other party as they had my reg, but i didnt notice any accident and there was no damage to my car but a little scuff on the front wing. but then again we didnt de-fraud them or gave any info wrong its only because at the time of filing the forms we couldnt figure out who was driving but my wife travel's on that route more than me , so we assumed it was her and not me, but then had a memory jog and remembered the date and minor collison that could have happened.0
