E-on Warrant of Entry help???

Hi guys, brief story gas bill of £200 outstanding from e-on had a letter saying that a representive had been and threatening warrant of entry action, i texted the chap and told him i would pay last week when i was paid however my other half has been in hospital and the money has had to be used urgently on this without going into details of what for. Anyway the e-on representive has been in touch today and said he can only hold my account with him until tommorow night 11th dec. My question is i get paid on the 21st and i will pay off the full balance then 100% however having told them i would pay it last month they are unlikely to believe me so how long does it take from him passing my account back to e-on to the warrant of entry being granted and people actually coming round?

I would say you have time, but be quick as max 2 weeks then they will apply
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

  • Hi,

tap a couple of mates for £100 each, if it goes to warrant you could incur further charges.

The creditors have had a broken promise from you already, just last week.

What's to say there won't be another urgent issue arising come the 21st?

Over £32K per year annual combined income and you can't muster up a couple of hundred quid?

How on earth are you going to cope whan that annual combined income is almost halved and you have an extra mouth to feed?

If you delay, then the court costs of obtaining the warrant may still be added to the debt, even if the warrant is not used.
