nope but im sure i got the same letter as op after my dishcharge

You got an IPOQ form AFTER discharge?

    Is that normal?
  • Does the OR notify the bankrupt if they apply for early discharge ? I check the register daily just incase I have been released.

There is a possibility you will get an ED, but in the mean time you need to chill and stop looking at the site daily. Take to doing it once a week. If you do not get one you have 8 months to go and could cause you a lot of stress and illness.
We all wanted to get an ED , but for most they go full term, you may be one of the lucky ones.

It is good to be discharged but to be honest you still have loads of problems to deal with. Is there any reason you want an ED?
Have you found a job or something and do not want to start an IPA?

Not an IPOQ. A letter informing of the OR's release as trustee. That is something that could technically happen after discharge.

Thanks Fermi. I received a letter from the OR saying they were applying to the secretary of state for release as trustee, I was hoping they might also apply for my early release. I was reading on other pages that the OR only notifies creditors that they intend to file for early release so thought maybe I have been put forward for early release and not notified. I am only 4 months in but cant wait for the whole thing to be over.

As I said earlier, the release as trustee letter does not mena that ED will necessarily follow soon after. I know that from personal experience.

It may happen. It may not. No-one here can tell more than that.
