  • no problem, as you say its worth calling and double checking.
I have found with HMRC that if you dont call the right number they have no idea what you are talking about. One of our clients rang about four different numbers and got nowhere, then called this one and the guy knew exactly what they were after - so i kept the number!
will dig it out for you tommorow
  • Hello
Here is that number for HMRC - 0845 300 0627

To request statement of earnings from the last tax year (or SA302's for prev years if self-employed)

Hope you get it all sorted
  • Thanks for all your help!

Sockpuppet we managed to get a pretty comprehensive document that HRMC created for us. They were great in all fairness. Obviously theres been a slight delay being Christmas.

They have now instructed the surveyors to go to the property. So I guess on our personal data we've been fully approved? Broker seemed to think the last piece of documentation was the last piece of the jigsaw.

Fingers crossed the property is all ok.

thats great, if they have instructed the valuation your broker is probably right.

Just have to wait for that to be carried out and then assessed so fingers crossed for you
  • Ok they seem to be a bit quicker on this part. Survey has been carried out and everything's fine, the mortgage broker seems to think we've finally cracked it!

So the mortgage is being drawn up so is there anything else I need to brace myself for that may go wrong??

Thank you so much for all your help and advice, its been some much needed support
