Selling property online

Has anyone had experiences of selling their property using a website. If so, I'd be interested in hearing your experiences as I am considering doing this in a few months.

Thanks.

  • Hi,
I would like to tell you to make your advertiesment on Internet regarding for the sale of your property. You need to describe which type of property you would like to sale. I am dam sure that you will get very interested buyer online. Their are a lot of website on the internet who plays a very good role in this. These are free of cost websites and you don't need to pay some money for this.

    Thanks,

If you mean setting up a single website dedicated to one property, with the sole purpose of selling this one property, I'd say don't bother. You won't get the traffic to make it worthwhile, unless you have an exceptional 'story' to attach to the property that will make bloggers and journalists write about it.

Every agent in the country uses a website or websites to sell their properties, whether they use their own branded websites or 'portals' such as Rightmove and Findaproperty, so in this general sense, everyone has 'experience' of using a website to sell their property.

You need to make the question more specific for a more specific answer.

Kevin, you aren't going to generate any business to your furniture website on the basis of poorly-written, not-quite-English postings such as this. Save yourself the time and the effort.

We don't believe your name is 'Kevin', either.
  • There are lots of online agents and a lot of threads on here about them. Search "online agent".
    Je suis sabot...
  • It is best to use an online agent their fees are much cheaper than high street agents and in my opinion they do a better job. You can do it yourself but you will not get the same coverage as agents pay to use all the property portals and these are the ones that buyers look for.
