Hi - I'm looking for two flights to New York for the above weekend - it has to be this weekend as it is to attend a wedding.
We could either depart on the Thursday 21th June in which case ideally need to be back in the UK to go into work on Tuesday 26th or depart on Friday 22nd in which case would need to be back in work on Wednesday 27th.
We live in West Yorkshire and don't want to travel down South to fly unless the saving is very significant as it is going to be a pretty shattering weekend as it is. This means flying from Manchester or a regional airport such as Liverpool, Leeds, Doncaster, East Midlands, Newcastle etc. No idea how many of the smaller airports have flights to New York.
Apparently it doesn't matter which NY airport we go into as hosts happy to sort out either.
I've never taken any interest in trips to the USA as it's not somewhere I've ever wanted to go. However this wedding is a must attend event.
Can anyone find me some cheaper flights than the best I've come up with - £622 total inc taxes for both of us on FlyGlobeSpan from Liverpool.
Any help much appreciated.

Zoom from Gatwick is £614.50 total for two so I doubt if it would be worth the travel south to save so little. Sounds like you have found about as cheap as you are going to.0
-
That's not a bad price but if you are going Economy you have to pay extra for a meal and the entertainment consule.0

With Zoom to New York, you get a meal, snack and unlimited soft drinks throughout the journey this is included in the cost of your flight, even if you are paying Economy!. You Pay £3 for head phone to access entertainment. You can bring your own headphones if you want to cut out this cost if you want.
