Dual boot laptop going back to single boot question

I have a laptop with 2 OS on it.
One on C:\ and one on D:\.

I have decided I want to keep the one on D:\ and absorb the C:\ into the other OS to provide more storage.
Is this possible?, I know I could do this if I want to keep the C:\ as it would be straightforward, but are there any issues with having the OS on a drive other than C:\?

Thanks in advance.

There shouldn't be any issues, providing it dual boots ok now, but it depends what OS you are talking about!

However it would be better to have the OS on C rather than D - but not essential.

If C and D are partitions rather than different physical hard discs, you could resize the partitions to get the size you want using a tool such as Partition Magic.

If one of the OS's is Linux, do a search on Grub (the bootloader)
