I bought a Fisher Price all singing all dancing dolls house from a seller in the USA in November. I paid £50 + another £50 postage. It arrived within a week !!
Unfortunately the roof was slightly damaged, appeared to have had something heavy stacked on top of it, and it had dented it slightly.
I emailed the seller, who said she would process a claim with the Post office in the USA and get back to me as soon as she heard anything.
Well, its now April and true to her word, she got back to me........ with a paypal Payment of £97.60 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The post office had refunded nearly all of my money, minus handling, and sent a cheque to the seller, who then paypal`d me the money.
This was amazing to me, as there are a heck of alot of sellers out there who would have simply pocketed the money and never got back to me.
We hadn`t been in correspondance since December,so it would have been easy for this seller to have forgotten about me,
Truly a fabulous ebay experience !!

I think that is great, a real thumbs up for some of the better sellers on ebay.

There are some honest people out there, that go someway to restoring your faith in humankind! I sold a bag to a buyer in Lichtenstein, it went for about £15 plus the postage cost. She paid by Paypal, but contacted me about 3 weeks later to say it hadn't arrived. I couldn't be bothered to pursue it through the P.O so just refunded her all the payment, and apologised (even though I did wonder if she was pulling a fast one of course).
Over two months after this, I received the Paypal payment back again from her, wth a message that the bag had finally arrived and she was delighted with it!0 -
I sent a parcel worth £10 to a buyer and it got lost in the post. I was amazingly p****d off with the Royal Mail 'at the time cause they'd lost/damaged loads of my parcels (they'd also sent me a !!!!!y letter claiming I'd not sent in receipts with the compensation forms, yet I'd stapled the receipts to the form!). I still had the original receipt from when I bought the item so I sent that to the Royal Mail rather than the ebay receipt. I got about £24 back so I split it with the buyer - we were both rather chuffed!0
