Natwest - How long for GOGW payment

Good Morning,

I've recently have some success in reclaiming miss sold PPI from a loan I took out in 2007. I had a letter offering me a refund of £2814, which, has come in handy due to a roof issue I've had. Anyway, in peoples experience, how long has it taken for the bank to pay the monies owed? I had a text from RBS last week saying thay have got my GOGW letter and it could take up to 28 days.

What are peoples experiences?
