    Just put it on the list along with;

    The NHS is safe in our hands.
    We pledge not to put up tuition fees.
    We will keep our triple A rating.
    There will be no double dip recession in Britain. (George Osborne Nov. 2011)

    Just look at the facts on the NHS: NHS waiting lists are down t an all time low.

    Think things would have been better under Labour?
  • Seems Cable disagrees, yesterday he said he thought there might well be,and that we were in for a decade of slow economic growth
    the IPPR also now says unemployment will increase by 200,000 in 2013

    Is that because people aren't being put on them? Hips, knees, cataracts ?

    They wouldn't be taking them off lists either, if they couldn't travel for treatment for instance?

    The problems in Wales that are all the fault of the labour administration there?

    Cable, as well as being the most overrated MP of all time, and an absolute moron, very much has his own agenda. Expect to see a leadership challenge from him before he's done.

    Of course he may not get anywhere, for a start he's so gullible it doesn't take anything more than a couple of female reporters massaging his ego to have him shooting himself squarely in the foot.

    I had to take someone to an NHS Hospital in Hampshire a few months ago. Apart from acute problems, they create a bed queue up the corridor leading to A&E but only count their occupants as waiting from the time they get through the door even if they start treating people in the corridor.
    Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.
  • When we on on the 5th or 6th dip will people realise its the same dip all along?

    Looking at the labour productivity data I reckon a 3rd dip is on the cards.

    After that I think we may start to see some improvement as US data is starting to look decidedly peachy, regardless of cliffs. As much as we like to kid ourselves otherwise, the world's economy is the US consumer for the time being at least.

    So you think we got out of the last 2 dips? I disagree, but it depends what or who you believe.
