Trade ins? The only value in a old boiler is that of the scrap metal.
Warm Front in England has a Scottish equivalent called Energy Assistance Package.

thanks will have a look. We had a leaflet through door back in the summer and one company seemed to be offering £400 off a new boiler in some sort of trade in scheme.

BG regularly offer an 'up to £400 'discount'. But, since their quotes are typically 40% higher to start with than a local independent GSR RGI, that's not exactly a saving.

No such thing as a free lunch...least not for tut workin' classes. can keep warm by working safe in the knowledge that dole hoppers will have nice new heating systems and special energy tariffs...
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

So who do you all think are best? Can't seem to get any quotes online which is a pain as I can't really be doing with the hassle of people coming out :( partner is a nightshift worker and it's disruptive to have people in during the day
