Clue: Good place to plant a gem. Perhaps that’s why it’s fortified.

My answer = Stonefield Castle (Loch Fyne)

Thursday 20th December - Win dinner, bed & breakfast at the hotel in the answer

Clue: Short book from South West in middle of cold spells the name of this house

Leaning towards the COTSWOLD HOUSE HOTEL, Chipping Camden. It has "SW" in the middle of "COLD", but I don't get the "Short book" bit of the clue. May need the facebook clue. Any other ideas?
  • Old Testament shortened
  • Many thanks for the extra clues. Much appreciated by those of us that don't do Facebook (or want to).
  • Just over the road from the Noel Arms.

is what my fb says todays hint is so one eye was right with Cotswold House Hotel and Spa

Friday 21st December - Win 7 nights accommodation at a Bespoke Hotel overseas.
What is the sum of: the number of suites at Mount Hartman Bay Estate x the thread-count of our bed-linen x the size in feet of the super-boat that is available to charter x the size in inches of the home cinema screen?

    The product of these is 12 x 600 x 51 x 50 = 18,360,000

    The sum of these is 12 + 600 + 51 + 50 = 713

I'm not sure which of the two they want as an answer as they have stated "sum" but then used "x"

    Thank can I just add

    7 nights in the Caribbean!
7 nights’ accommodation at the luxurious Mount Hartman Bay Estate, on the Caribbean island of Grenada. Travel not included

I would go with the product answer as I think they have used sum just to mean mathematical calculation not actual sum as in add up the numbers.
